Apologies. I've now been with this 'IWU' site
for about a month. I've now been aproached by about 5/ 6
very dodgy entities on this site.
It starts;
1 - Dodgy
writing, but still readable & nice/ freindly
2 - Emails
seem to be much quicker than normal for replies.
3 - Can i
tell you an embarrassing story. Can i trust you etc
Now,
i live in Africa, and i am ashamed that most of these
entities are coming from Africa (Northern Africa, if you
know where i am talking about).
Then it starts;
1 - Ask
questions, get no replies to them, but they ask lots
2 -
Always, 'I've got an embarrassing story to tell, can i
trust you to tell you etc"?
3 - Ask you to send money to
help them out of a sticky situation
4 - Ask you to write
certain letters to authorites, basically
lieing on
their behalf etc
Do you remember the email scams that
used to come out of northern Africa? It affected everyones
email boxes etc years ago. Well lets just say, they've found
a new way of trying to find people! This site! The 'iwantu'
website must find ways of stopping these people from
entering this site. I now wonder - who is this person i'm
sending a message too - will they be another one! Maybe i
shouldn't send one just in case. Its not right.
Please
remind all members to be watchful & careful, never send
money & in yuor own words Aphrodite - if it sounds/ looks to
good to be true, it often is!
